Other than M, me, me, and me? Sad but true, JT(Justin Timberlake) and Nippy(Whitney Houston) are two names that pop out of my tag cloud. And today, Nippy just pushed me to my 200th post. Thanks, Nippy! Love ya, girl! I never would've made it without you.

Whitney and Bobby's marriage-- like the forest(number 13)-- is officially over today.

The school's spring dance is next week and they've titled the program "Step by Step." So whenever any calls in to buy tickets, I come down with a case of dueling ear worms.

a Television Without Pity recap reminded of the episode of Designing Women were they did "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and Suzanne Sugarbaker felt the need to perform in black face,  I decided to look it up and stumbled across the  gem from Nippy.

It's from  the Classic Whitney concert she did in DC back in 1997. And when she performed this song, she had me bawling like a baby because it was almost a year after my oldest brother died. He was a big Whitney fan. Me? No so much. I was too drawn into the spectacle that was Madonna at the time to appreciate her voice. This special,  The Preacher's Wife soundtrack and me wanting to hold on to a little a bit of my brother sort of cemented my love for Nippy.
