I'm really not trying to pay $250 to see George Michael but I want to see him. Which means my hainty ass can lower my standards and spring for a cheap seat ($55) or scour the internet for as many giveaways as possible. Found another one on Saturday.  The Wow Report  had a contest in which you had to tell them in 50 words or less why you wanted tickets.

My reason: If he does "I Knew You Were Waiting" and needs a stand-in for Aretha, I'm his three-pound plus [plus damn near two but they didn't need to know all that] go to gurl. And my "Too Funky" Tyra-esque runway stroll deserves a larger and more understanding audience than my stupefied father who caught me practicing it once.

A DVD collection, which I'm cool with. However, I'm going to have to cruise on over to YouTube and piece together his Unplugged  concert  because I still on fence about dipping into my life savings to see this Madonna.  With her, I'm looking at about $165 for a semi-decent seat. The fact that I'd  have to take to the road trip to see her in either Philly or Atlantic City is where the stinging cost come in. Frigging gas! Frigging nostalgia!
